Trustee Patrick Garcia gave cuddos to the Police Department and the Fire Department for Saturday nights homecoming of the Tularosa Lady Wildcats after winning the State Basketball Championship.
Trustee Patrick Garcia wanted clarification on the Gallegos Lane fire incident and also wanted to quell some rumors. Police Chief Charles Wood said after speaking to Paul Quaroli from the Otero county Emergency Medical Services, he did not
find any evidence of drugs and they felt it was an electrical fire. The explosion people heard was a sonic boom that happened right before the fire started.
Police Chief Charles Wood commended Sonny Reyes from the yard for volunteering his help in putting baracades on both end of Higuera Street for traffic control.
The Co-Op project was discussed and the laterals in the west area is what is going to be taken care of.
