There was a concern about the brakes on the Dump Truck that is parked at the Yard.  It was implied that the dump truck has no brakes.  Mr. Rick Gutierrez was asked to call Wade Moore from the county to see if they had a dump truck for sale and to get estimates for repairs.  Trustee John 'Ray' Telles said the dump truck should be red tagged until the repairs are completed.  Fire Chief John Montoya said he knows of a mechanic who can come to the yard and give an estimate on repairs.

Trustee Patrick Garcia gave cuddos to the Police Department and the Fire Department for Saturday nights homecoming of the Tularosa Lady Wildcats after winning the State Basketball Championship.

Trustee Patrick Garcia wanted clarification on the Gallegos Lane fire incident and also wanted to quell some rumors.  Police Chief Charles Wood said after speaking to Paul Quaroli from the Otero county Emergency Medical Services, he did not
find any evidence of drugs and they felt it was an electrical fire.  The explosion people heard was a sonic boom that happened right before the fire started.

Police Chief Charles Wood commended Sonny Reyes from the yard for volunteering his help in putting baracades on both end of Higuera Street for traffic control.

The Co-Op project was discussed and the laterals in the west area is what is going to be taken care of.

The stop sign on 7th and Durazno will be moved further out.

It was requested that a Mileage Report be submitted to the village office for all village vehicles used.

There was discussion on having a reception for the Girls Basketball Championship team and proclaiming 'Lady Wildcat Day'.  Village Clerk Dianna Brusuelas-Guilez will contact the school for available dates.

There being no further business to discuss Trustee Ronald Cooksey moved to adjourn and was seconded by Trustee John 'Ray' Telles.

The Workshop adjourned at 6:35 P. M.
