Reclaim Tularosa: Student & Community Recycled Art Expo
This show welcomes all types of repurposed creativity.
• Artwork may include recycled, repurposed, or upcycled items
• Pieces do not have to look like “recycled trash,” but they can
• Artists may also use new materials to complete the work (examples: spray paint, glue,
wire, fasteners, sealants, or finishing materials) to tie together a polished final product
Who Can Participate
Open to students and community members in the immediate Tularosa area, including Tularosa,
Alamogordo, Three Rivers, Bent, and the Mescalero area but not limited too.
Participants are not required to be enrolled in any specific school.
Judging & Awards
Judging uses a fair 1–5 point scale (5 = best) across categories.
Awards include:
• 1st Place: Award ribbon + $100 cash
• 2nd Place: Award ribbon + $50 cash
• 3rd Place: Award ribbon + $25 cash
Additional sponsored prizes may include gift certificates from local businesses and
community partners (e.g., eateries, grocery stores, ice cream, movie theater, Kiwanis,
Rotary, etc.)
